I urge you to read Jeffrey Zeldman’s article in A List Apart about SOPA, a catastrophically bad proposal that’s in serious danger of becoming law in the US. With no hint of exaggeration, it would ruin the internet. If, like me, you don’t live in the US, don’t make the mistake of thinking this doesn’t matter to you — its effects will be far-reaching.
